Challenge
How do you differentiate from your competitors by bring life and emotion to something as simple as accessing files and folders?
Goal
Our goal with the Syncplicity iPhone app was to remove the stigma that Enterprise app are ugly by dazzling users with gorgeous interfaces and making complex navigation a breeze.
Did I mention we only had 3 months to do it?
Result
We redefined how “Enterprise” should look and function, and our end-users loved it. Users gave us a +4 rating in the iTunes and analysis praise our users experience as a primary differentiator.

CONCEPTS
Concepts - Exploring Ideas
During the discovery phase we analyzed our current app, spoke with end-users to understand their pain points and crafted user stories to help define the scope. Once we had a vision, we explored many different layouts and flows to see which ones would be best solve the users need.

Wireframes - Documenting the idea
After solidifying on the framework, the team started defining flows and screen interaction mapping to user stores. We ensured the right level of documentation was in place to empower of Dev & QA teams to do their job by eliminating the “what does this do?” from their vocabulary.

We brought the wireframes to life by defining a new visual tone and direction for the app that updated its look & feel and brought life into the app by incorporating beautiful imagery and intuitive interfaces.

Creating a sense of space and movement was one of our goals. We worked very closely with our developers by creating animatics to ensure the right amount of motion was used.
